Kirby's Blue Velvet II, SH

VELVET II is our 3-1/2 year old, 70 pound dark Chocolate dynamo. We sold her as a pup and kept her littermate, Velvet I.  Velvet I was in training for field trial work when she got into poison and died overnight.  We were so impressed with her progress as a trial dog that we searched until we found an owner who was willing to let us have her littermate back (yet unregistered and unnamed at one year of age). We named her VELVET II in honor of her fallen sister and littermate. 

VELVET II had been a housedog/pet for about a year and the transition to kennel dog/field trial prospect has been interesting and fun for us. She has all the qualities we want for a working dog: GREAT RETRIEVING DESIRE, LOVE OF WATER AND BIRDS, AND SUPER SPEED ON LAND AND WATER. She went through the training program with ease and is now basically a finished, handling dog, needing only experience to be a competitive dog in the hunt test or field trial game. We consider her to be VERY INTELLIGENT and very LOVING.

Velvet has passed the health requirements as follows: OFA-GOOD, CERF-NORMAL, CNM-CLEAR, EIC-CLEAR.

VELVET II is the daughter of one the top Chocolate Field Champions in the recent past, FC Nan Dools Elwood Blues. Her dam, Kirby's Scouts Honor also has super retrieving desire and has produced many hard charging working dogs.
